Range of the keyboard, which, as with No. 121, is pulled out for use: C–F3 (three octaves and a fourth). The lower keys are inlaid with ivory; the upper keys are stained black. The instrument is made of aspen and veneered with maple on the inside. The inside of the lid features a hinged oval mirror surrounded by two painted figures of cupids. The rear interior of the case is filled by a removable box containing, in a number of compartments, a complete sewing kit made of mother-of-pearl and silver. Silver handles are fitted to both side panels. The piano has single-stringed bass and double-stringed treble (from B♭1 upwards) and features a Viennese action with brass caps, escapements and catchers.
