This specific historical instrument was manufactured and originally retailed in London by John Rudd (trading as "Late Waite & Co." at 4 Circus Street, New Road, Marylebone). It was subsequently brought to New Zealand in 1870. Measuring 196 cm in height, 137.5 cm in width, and 61 cm in depth, this antique English upright is catalogued in the museum’s Applied Arts and Design collection
